FAA Drone Flight Rules Check

Real FAA airspace, weather, traffic, and twilight data for one coordinate.

Checks a coordinate against bundled FAA UAS Facility Map grids (RDU, Greenville SC, Marietta GA, Charlotte NC, Chesapeake VA). Unknown locations trigger a live FAA data fetch. Weather (NWS), nearby manned aircraft (ADS-B), long-term security TFRs, and Part 107 daylight/civil-twilight status are shown alongside the result and do not affect the FAA airspace verdict.

Real FAA grids are not "airport = no fly." Most of the area around an airport is altitude-capped, not banned; only the small core over the runways is a hard no-fly. The presets below include one of each per airport so you can see the difference.
